Managing Home Working - getting your policy right

Guidance and tips on remote working, as well as addressing common challenges and solutions when establishing your home working policy.

About the speaker - Samantha Castle, Partner, Barcan+Kirby

Samantha joined Barcan+Kirby in 2006 and has over 15 years of legal experience. In 2017 she won Bristol Law Society’s Lawyer of the Year and was promoted to Partner in 2018 whilst on maternity leave.

Samantha deals with both employee and employer matters, including drafting contracts and policy documents, providing HR advice, dealing with redundancies, drafting and advising upon contracts and settlement agreements, dealing with unfair and constructive dismissal claims, discrimination cases and complex Tribunal matters. She is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Having dealt with numerous remote working queries since the pandemic hit in March 2020 and assisting her own HR team with their home working policies she is well placed to provide practical solutions to the issues that may arise.
