Description

Share or increase your awareness of Invasive plant species both native and non-native and how best to manage these in the countryside environment.

There will be opportunities to listen & share your own knowledge and experiences in onsite discussions including:- effective horizon scanning, best practice, environmental impacts, and control methods.

During the day we will be visiting both the North and South Coasts of West Penwith to look at different sites and discuss the current invasive species management being undertaken by the National Trust in the area. The day will be hosted outside and will involve some walking on site so please come prepared. Some transport will be available but some car sharing between sites may be required depending on the numbers attending.

Tea and coffee will be available in the morning and at lunchtime. Please bring your own lunch, or pasties etc will be available to buy. There are toilets available during the day.
