Managing Medicines on School Premises

The Managing Medicines on School Premises course covers relevant information needed to manage and administer medicines on a school environment. The course covers the standards for medicines management in school and early years settings, responsibilities for those administering medicines to children under 16 years old, record keeping, most common medical conditions in a school environment, and gives an overview of “Supporting Pupils at School with Medical Conditions guidance” issued by the Department of Education (UK) in September 2014.
(This course does not replace administration requirements as specified in a pupil’s individual health care plans, written by the child’s doctor/practitioner.)
The course provides plenty of theory and practical scenarios with a maximum number of 12 learners, you will receive plenty of assistance and guidance from your trainer.
