About this event
Our evidence-based, open access courses are hosted online via Zoom and have been developed to encourage as many people as possible to increase their knowledge and confidence.
Developed specifically for managers and supervisors, this course will equip you with the skills to have meaningful conversations with staff about wellbeing, and instil knowledge to help you:
- identify the signs and symptoms of stress in the workplace
- know how to develop an open team culture
- develop strategies for talking to staff about mental health
- explain how to create a wellbeing plan
- identify internal sources of support
- explain the importance of boundaries
- write a personal action plan.
To attend this course, it is advised that participants have a rudimentary understanding of mental health and wellbeing to strengthen their learning. Once you have registered you will receive an email with access to a short mental health awareness briefing video, that you will need to watch before attending this course.
There is a maximum of two people per organisation for this course.
