How can you make sure you meet all these deadlines, stay within budget and, most importantly, keep clients happy?
At this half-day workshop with design industry expert, Lorna Dallas-Conte, you'll find out about a series of essential and practical project management tools that will allow you to keep a handle on all your projects and deliver them efficiently.
Following a five step framework, you'll discover how to manage the process and the people involved, by examining the theory and then working through the practicalities.
Through exercises and discussion this session will cover:

- How to prioritise conflicting needs
- Getting the most from software
- Pitfalls to avoid and how to prevent things going wrong
- Top tips for managing the project management process

Lorna Dallas-Conte, Consultant
Lorna's professional qualifications, career and portfolio span both design and business. With a first degree in Banking followed by a Masters in Design Management, Lorna has first hand experience of project management from a variety of stand points both practical within the sector, as well as theoretical.
Lorna has her own consultancy practice which in the past has been commissioned by the Design Council and the Arts Council, as well as Business Link regionally and nationally to conduct research and develop tools and services for the design sector. Lorna has also worked on several projects linked to the regeneration through creativity in the South East. Her business clients include awarding bodies, design and branding consultancies, as well as micro businesses and individuals.
Lorna is currently combining her consultancy work with supervision of Masters' students studying Management of Innovation and Applied Imagination at Central St Martins, University of the Arts, London.
