This half day workshop provides a framework for seeing a project through from start to finish.
About this event
As library leaders & managers, we’re constantly required to deliver on projects for change, never more so than in recent times. Many of us achieve results through a blend of intuition and learning from experience. If you wish to review how you set about this, the half day workshop provides a framework for seeing a project through from start to finish. The main focus is on project principles into practice and effectiveness of the project team, rather than on IT systems.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of this virtual workshop, you will be able to:
- Define a project and identify success factors
- Be clear on roles and responsibilities in a project team ▪ Identify the key stages in a project life-cycle
- Know some techniques for managing each stage effectively
There will be some reading before the workshop and reference material provided after.
Participants are asked to bring a case study project to the workshop.
As this is a taster session, participants are encouraged to further research some of the tools and practise their use in relevant projects.
Costs: £75 LIEM members, £100 Non-LIEM members
