A free CPD session on how to deal with JCT contracts in the construction industry

About this Event

This is a CPD course organised by the College of Contract Management - an accredited institution that has been providing training in the construction and engineering sectors for over five years.

This short course will train you in the principles and responsibilities imposed by law, codes of practice and other regulations when dealing with JCT contracts. These are an important part of the construction industry, and knowing them well is a major advantage.

By the end of the course, you will:

  • Understand procurement and tendering procedures and practice.
  • Understand and how to evaluate PPQs and analyse ITTs.
  • Understand bid basics, timescales and resources.
  • Understand buyers' and sellers' perspectives and overseas implications.
  • Develop the ability for quantitative and qualitative assessment, review and continual improvement.
  • Gain knowledge in structure, impact, production, and evaluation of the bid.
  • Be able to structure bid documentation effectively and control a structured submission.
  • Be able to improve your tender answers for high scoring in tender competitions.
  • Be able to evaluate and analyse bid requirements.
  • Be able to manage an effective bid and response.
