About this Event

This Network provides an opportunity for Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIO’s) who operate in the public, private or voluntary sectors to discuss different ways to involve Remote Volunteers in their organisation. The Covid-19 Pandemic has changed the way we involve volunteers in our work and many are looking to engage remote volunteers for the first time. During this network organisations can share how they have incorporated remote volunteers, discuss how they may adapt their recruitment and management practices, and explore different roles that could be created.

Meeting starts at 10.00am

This will be an open discussion and shaped around the needs of organisations in attendance. If any groups would like to present on their work on developing remote volunteer opportunities, please let us know so we can incorporate it into the discussions. We will also hear from volunteers about their expirences volunteering remotely.
