Managing people is always challenging at times, and this can be doubly so when you don’t have frequent contact with them. For organisations relying on remote volunteers working from home or other locations, particular challenges of support and supervision arise. This course takes a look at some of the options for managers of such volunteers and explores the balance between effective volunteers and business needs.

Who is this course suitable for?
This session is suitable for managers of volunteers in particular those whose volunteers are frequently based off site or who work with service users in isolation from others.
There are no entry requirements for this course but participants should have a reasonable understanding of English to get the most from it.
