The 2025 conference & exhibition will seek to build on the last two year's sell-out successes at the same venue. We will look to further develop the ‘shared responsibility’ approach to KSI reduction by continuing to develop the ‘It’s personal’ theme which was launched at the inaugural event in March 2023.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The primary audience for the conference is health & safety professionals, with a particular focus on National Highways' supply chain and other public sector bodies who can influence their supply chains. The aim is to use the conference to continue conversations about work-related road risk with H&S professionals.

The fitment of passive and active safety equipment on commercial vehicles lags some way behind that on passenger vehicles. Much of the improvement we’ve seen in car standards over the last 27 years since Euro Ncap’s car standards were launched. Their new van and truck standards are looking to replicate this improvement across commercial vehicles.

Andy Green’s spotlight session will wrap up the day. Andy is the current (and probably last) holder of the World Land Speed Record and is the only person ever to break the sound barrier on land reaching 763mph in September 1997 in ThrustSSC (Super Sonic Car). Andy’s presentation will focus on his experience in managing the risk of this mission.
