Managing Selective Mutism in the Early Years
Wed 17 May 2017, 09:30 – 16:00 BST
The London & South East Region Selective Mutism CEN invite you to attend a day to explore the management of selective mutism in the early years.
This event will be an opportunity to hear from Gino Hipolito (SLT), who will be presenting his London-based research regarding selective mutsim and Belinda Bradley (SLT), who will discuss research on differential diagnosis of selective mutism in children with EAL. The day will include workshops to explore the ways we are managing selective mutism in the early years.
As we look to work more collaboratively, this event will be open for SLTs to bring an education practitioner (e.g. nursery/school teacher/T.A).
Tickets are available now and will be available on a first come, first served basis so please book your place by purchasing a ticket.
If you are an SLT or SLT student and would like to become a member of the London & South East Region SM CEN, please email Roberta Mendes (firstname.lastname@example.org). Membership cost is inlcuded in the ticket price and runs April to April of the the following year.
