Description

Stress is a ‘normal’ part of our everyday lives, however stress can make us less effective in our lives and can lead us to experience physical symptoms and even to become unwell.

Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress — whether stressors in the workplace or with family, relationships or your health. It means "bouncing back" or even ‘bouncing forward’ from difficult experiences.

This course will explore what stress is and what triggers your own stress response, and will help you look at ways of improving your resilience to stress and therefore your wellbeing. It may be of interest to anyone feeling stressed, under pressure or struggling with change or uncertainty or similar, and wishing to improve their resilience in these areas.
