Managing You

This half day workshop will explore how to manage your time, energy and relationships to ensure smarter working and increased productivity. The session will be relaxed and interactive and participants will benefit from networking with others facing similar challenges. We will explore goal setting, the 'to-do' list, and other tips and tricks for managing ourselves better.

This session will cover:

  • Time Management
  • Goal Setting
  • Organising and prioritising tasks
  • Managing relationships with others
  • Understanding how we and those around us work best


Trainer Bio: Gemma Rowden

After ten years in the museums and visitor attractions industry, Gemma made the move to not for profit in April 2016 where she joined The Scout Association as Learning and Development Business Partner. In her previous roles at The Roman Baths, Natural History Museum and The View from The Shard, Gemma gained extensive experience in customer service, induction, management and leadership, communications and various soft skills training as well as becoming a qualified coach.
At Scouts Gemma is working on shaping the learning and development strategy and encouraging a culture of continuous 'learning by doing' at what could be argued the original youth learning organisation.

Workshop:

We ask that all attendees arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts to allow for registration and ensure a timely start and the smooth running of the workshop.

Booking:

You must be a member of Small Charities Coalition in order to attend this workshop. If you aren't already you can register for free here.

Waitlist:
If the places have all been filled please do add your details to the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as a place becomes available.

Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cancel your place at least 2 full working days before the event takes place then you are entitled to a full refund by request. Refunds for cancellations after this point are given at the discretion of Small Charities Coalition.

If you cannot make a workshop please advise us as soon as possible. Workshops normally have a waitlist and if you notify us early enough then there's a good chance another charity can attend in your place.
