About this event
Admin & Ancillary spend can broadly be defined as the costs that are not directly related to the core delivery of a project (like energy efficiency measures or EV infrastructure), but are necessary to enable or support that delivery.
In this masterclass, presented by Turner & Townsend Consultant Cameron McKenzie, we will delve into admin costs - which might include resourcing the project, completing reports, general administration; and ancillary costs, which might include loft clearance, boiler removal, services to support householders with a disability.
Because A&A spend can make up upto 15% of the grant funding received from DESNZ and as a minimum this amount must be co-funded, therefore, it’s important to understand what costs sit under A&A, which are considered capital expenditure and which costs could be categorised as either A&A or capital expenditure.
What we’ll cover:
Define admin & ancillary spend and go through some examples to sign post which costs fall under A&A and which fall under capital costs.
Outline when and how you can drawdown your A&A spend.
An overview of how we would recommend you use your A&A budget to ensure the smooth delivery of you project on budget
