- Do you know it takes about 100 milliseconds to make a first impression?
- Are you making the right impression?
- Does how you feel on the inside show on the outside?
You are always making an impact, other people observe you, listen to you and make judgements about you. Once those initial judgements are made it can be difficult to change someone’s mind, so it’s even more important to be think about how you want to be seen to give yourself the best possible impression.
The good news is you can do something about it, you can enhance your personal impact and the effectiveness of your communication.
This workshop will enable you to assess your own impact and identify new ways to interact and build productive relationships. Some of that will come from simple changes you can make in for example, harnessing your body language, managing your nerves. In addition, we know that how we feel on the inside shows up on the outside. So if you are not clear about your direction, if you are hesitant about really going for what you want and deserve we will help you get the clarity and focus that will instantly hit people when you meet them for the first time.
As part of the Grow with Confidence programme, the workshop will help you :
- take control and gain the confidence to achieve your goals.
- become more skilled and influential in managing your relationships successfully
- learn tools and techniques that will enable you to continue to grow your confidence and self esteem.
Confidence is the greatest personal resource we have, with it we feel we can face any situation.
This workshop is ONLY open to women who are either live or work in the borough. Places are limited so please register today.
Our Women's Social Leadership Programme is funded by the Big Lottery Fund Awards for All programme.
