Description

GradNet Seminar: Managing Your Research in an Intercultural Setting
For postgraduate students in the Faculty of Humanities, University of Southampton

This workshop aims at shedding light on the concept of intercultural communication and the role it plays when conducting a research. It also emphasises the importance of cultural understanding among researchers by highlighting the cultural and linguistic diversity in the PGR rooms and library.

It includes sections that deal with intercultural communication competence, and how culture, language and the field of research interestingly contribute in enriching the research environment.
