Join us for this one-hour workshop designed to help parents and carers of tweens and teens understand and support their child's stress and anxiety. You'll learn what these challenges can look like in young people, why they happen, and how to respond in ways that strengthen your relationship and boost your child's well-being.

This workshop is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. All donations go to Holding Space, a charity providing peer support for parents in East Sussex. Your contribution helps ensure every parent has access to support, and if you're able to give more, it allows us to offer reduced-cost places to others in need.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for parents and carers of tweens and teens (roughly ages 9–16) who want to better understand stress and anxiety and feel more confident supporting their child. It’s also helpful for anyone working with young people, such as teachers, counsellors, youth workers, or family members.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop is one hour long.

Do I need any prior knowledge about adolescent psychology?

No prior knowledge is required. The workshop is designed to be accessible and informative for everyone.

Can I ask questions during the workshop?

Yes, there will be a Q&A session where you can ask the facilitator questions.

Is there a fee to attend the workshop?

Tickets are by donation - you choose the amount. We suggest £5–£15 if you’re able. Every contribution helps us continue offering accessible support to parents.
