Welcome to the Manchester 2026 National ICCT Gathering! Join us at GoChurch Manchester for two days filled with inspiring talks, engaging workshops, and networking opportunities.
A gathering for church, charity and community leaders to grapple with what it means to be an intercultural Church that impacts our towns and cities.
This ICCT gathering will explore the transformative concept of Imago Dei — the belief that every person is created in the image and likeness of God — as a foundation for intercultural understanding and the renewal of churches and cities. Participants will examine how recognising the inherent dignity and worth of every individual can break down prejudice and foster meaningful connections across diverse cultures, enabling the church of Christ to thrive. The event will also focus on developing intercultural leadership and creating worship experiences through music, arts, and storytelling that celebrate God’s creativity expressed in cultural diversity.
In addition, the conference will highlight the church’s vital role in reflecting Imago Dei within urban environments marked by cultural diversity and inequality. Discussions will emphasise the importance of planting new intercultural churches and revitalising existing ones as spaces that support marginalised communities, promote justice, and cultivate discipleship and belonging. Leaders will be empowered to create culturally inclusive environments within their churches and communities, embodying the love and unity found in Christ.
