Description

Emma Fox of Manchester Guided Tours will lead a guided walking tour of Manchester city centre exploring architectural and decorative bees plus we'll visit roof top hives. We'll explore contemporary street art and the traditional bees and hives depicted on Manchester's Cottonopolis era buildings.

Our symbol, of the busy worker bee, of the hive of industry that was 19th century Manchester, has taken on a deeper meaning of pulling together and resiliance since the terrible events of May 2017.

Meet Emma on the Manchester Central Library front steps.

Please note we will be going up quite a number of stairs so unfortunately this tour is not suitable for wheel chair users or those who find stairs difficult.

Due to health and safety children are not allowed on the rooftop so I’m very sorry but this tour can only be attended by those over 16.
