Topic of discussionThis session will bring together local and national F&B voices to discuss sustainability and the latest trends to affect our bars, restaurants, stores and other F&B establishments. With many operators in Manchester signing a pledge to ensure the city is free of single use plastic by 2020, an initiative from The Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burham, what does this mean for the everyday running of Manchester’s eateries? Hear from the experts about what little changes can make a big difference, and some interesting case studies. From reusable coffee cups, paper straws and compostable serving wear, to local procurement and helping the homeless.

We have brought together a panel of exceptional industry professionals who will give a candid assessment of the current challenges, and take a bold look at how to address them through best practice and collective action. There will be an opportunity during the event to share your stories and put questions to our panel.

Through conversation and consultation we aim to stimulate debate and create positive change.
