Event Information
About this Event
Manchester Labour Party produce and work to a manifesto as part of their election commitments, after a year ravaged by COVID-19 we are putting together our vision for the May 6th Elections. This years manifesto meeting will be held over zoom and people will be placed into breakout rooms on key areas.
We want to use the experience and expertise of Labour members in Manchester to review policy in the 2021 manifesto on key areas:
- Environment and transport
- Neighbourhoods and communities
- Housing and homelessness
- Families and education
The event will open for registration from 10.15am and finish at 12.15pm
Purpose of the day
To enable Labour Party members from the 5 Manchester Constituencies to have an influence on the content of the manifesto for the 2021 local elections. It is a space for members to engage in policy directly for the manifesto but also to think about the direction we want to see Manchester Labour move towards as we handle COVID and it's impact on the city.
By the end of the event we want to have revised pledges we'll put forward for the 2021 Manifesto.
