Welcome to the Manchester Member of Youth Parliament Q&A event! Join us at the Friends Meeting House on October 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM, to engage in an insightful discussion with our youth parliament representative. This event is for young people aged 11 - 18 years old, living or going to school in Manchester City.

We’ll be electing 4 Members of Youth Parliament representing Manchester. MYPs will be in office for a two-year term, elected from April 2026 until March 2028.

This is your chance to ask questions and learn more about what it means to be a Member of Youth Parlimanet .

We are running sessions across the city, be sure to check out locations that best suit you.

Please note if you wish to run as a candidate: You must be aged 11-17 years old. You must live, work for a minimum of 14 hours, or be in education in the City of Manchester. You cannot stand in more than one constituency in the same year’s election.
