Manchester Ship Canal and Concorde for 3 nights

Venture onto the majestic Manchester Ship Canal. Opened in 1894 and stretching for 36 miles, the legendary Canal is a feat of Victorian engineering endeavour and an alternative way to see the North West. We combine water with air on this tour by taking a visit to Manchester Airport to visit the iconic Concorde pride of the British Airways supersonic fleet.

DAY 1 - Travel to Manchester
DAY 2 - The highlight of this tour is a cruise on the Manchester Ship Canal, which includes a lively commentary giving a revealing insight into the facts, history and the drams of one of Britain’s major waterways. This six-hour cruise will leave you with a sense of how its construction shaped the city of Manchester and the North West of England. The cruise departs from Salford Quays.
DAY 3 - Enjoy a morning visit to nearby Manchester Airport where Concorde G-BOAC is displayed. See the only fully accessible flightdeck in the world, learn about some of the aircraft’s famous passengers and see where the Queen used to sit whenever she flew “Concorde”. Afternoon free in Manchester.
DAY 4 - Depart hotel after breakfast and make the journey home.
Timings: Leave Leominster 9:30am., Hereford at 10:00am., Ross on Wye at 10:30am.
Costs: Including travel with Edwards Coaches, dinner, bed and full English breakfast, Manchester Ship Canal Cruise, Concord Museum entry is £339.00 per person based on Twin/Double. Single rooms are very limited, with an extra supplement of £51.
