What should I bring to the event?

You will need to bring your own yoga mat, thick padding, or a blow-up camping bed for comfort, as we are not providing mats. A blanket and cushions are also recommended for extra support, along with warm, cosy layers and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Is this event suitable for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. No prior experience with sound baths or meditation is needed. Simply arrive with an open mind and allow yourself to relax into the experience.

Will there be seating available?

This is a floor-based event, so you will be lying down for the majority of the session. If you require a chair due to mobility issues, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 6PM, and we recommend arriving early to find your space and settle in. Doors close at 6:45 PM sharp, and late entry will not be permitted to maintain the immersive experience.

The sound bath will last 90 minutes

Will there be food or drinks available?

Accepted Answer

Each guest will receive a complimentary herbal tea from our friends at Earth & Herb, specially crafted to enhance relaxation. There will be no food served, so we recommend eating something light a few hours beforehand if needed.

What are the parking options?

The nearest parking is Q-Park Deansgate North, a 2-minute walk from the cathedral at 2 Chapel Street, M3 7WJ. You can pre-book with a 10% discount using code MC1421. Other parking options are available via JustPark and YourParkingSpace.

Is the venue heated?

Yes, Manchester Cathedral is heated, but as it is a large historic building, we strongly recommend bringing warm layers and a blanket for added comfort.

Can I bring someone with me who has never been to a sound bath before?

Of course. This event is suitable for both beginners and experienced attendees.

Is there an age limit for this event?

Accepted Answer

Due to the deeply immersive and meditative nature of the experience, this event is not suitable for children under 14.

What if I can no longer attend?

Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event. If you can no longer attend, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to arrange a refund or discuss ticket transfer options.
