In this workshop Jess will take you throug many devising structures and activities that you can incorporate into your own practice, talk about how Sweet Beef devise and create 5*, award winning shows and explore how to create bold and challenging new theatre!
Jess Haygarth is a director, theatre maker and facilitator who specialises in creative collaborative devised work. Her company Sweet Beef is a queer theatre collective who create socio-political devised shows using comedy, dance and drag. They are Pleasance Associate Artists, winners of the Charlie Hartill Award 2024, and shortlisted for the LET Awards.
