Layla Chowdhury is a London-based performer / producer, as well as Artistic Director of The Mango Ensemble. She has worked with Stage One and earned a place on the prestigious Stage One Bridge the Gap scheme 2024/5. She has worked at the Orange Tree Theatre and Lyric Hammersmith as a theatre producer as well as freelance.
With her freelance producing she has toured shows around the UK with her company The Mango Ensemble. She has also supported emerging artists in getting their show off the ground and works to make the industry more accessible.
In this workshop we will go through the essentials of producing your own work, from outlining budgets, funding opportunities and the best ways to get programmed.
