The Children's Media Conference has teamed up with the Greater Manchester Investment Agency MIDAS to deliver a great strand of animation and kids’ content events in Manchester - under the brand "Manimation".

The first Manimation event is on 21st November

Going Global: 21 November 2013 

How to take your animation to the international marketplace. Who's buying, who's co-producing, how does the UK tax break work and how do subsidies, funding  and audience trends in other territories impact on projects?

Manimation daytime events are free to Greater Manchester-based SMEs, thanks to funding from MIDAS and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

To qualify for free registration GM companies must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Fewer than 250 employees (full time workers employed during one year with part-time or seasonal workers being fractions of one full time worker).
  • Turnover of less than Euro 50,000,000 or Balance sheet of less than Euro 43,000,000.
  • Not more than 25% owned by one or more companies not falling within the above definition.
  • To qualify for this free registration you must sign up your company to two or more of the Manimation daytime events.

This Programme of events has been designed to reflect the opportunity for growth and need to build capacity within Greater Manchester SME creative and digital business community.   The events are part-funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and delivered through the North West Sector Investment Programme.

The Children's Media Conference in partnership with MIDAS
