Event description

Description

ManMade: In the Land of the Living is the final event of the art research project ManMade. This immersive performance explores themes of mankind, and approaches with curiosity and playfulness the question - What makes us human?

You are invited to immerse in a journey in which you will encounter the art works created by 6 commissioned artists: visual works, installations, projections and performances; a bespoke software system created by the digital artist Ben Sheehan will track the body movements of the performer, triggering projections on screens illustrating this journey of self-doubt and discovery.

ManMade is a 6 month-long project comprising several stages: workshops, performances, discussions, residencies, exhibitions. This final performance at BDF 2017 is the culmination of this process and will include work from members of the public who participated.

After the performance, there will a post show discussion.
