Dr Faiz Iqbal, Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, University of Lincoln

Dr. Faiz Iqbal is a Senior Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering specializing in smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0, with a focus on digital automation (digitisation and digitalisation) for manufacturing micro-SMEs. His work integrates advanced sensor technologies, advanced industrial automation, and data analytics to enhance manufacturing efficiency, sustainability, and quality control. He leads research in digital inspection systems, intelligent automation, and net-zero manufacturing solutions, collaborating with industry partners to develop innovative, commercially viable technologies.
