Description

Talk and document display

German V-1 and V-2 missiles, used in attacks against Britain in 1944 and 45, were weapons designed to wreak mass devastation on urban areas.

Using fascinating visual sources from The National Archives, this talk by Professor Stephen Evans from the University of Waterloo, Canada, will explore the extent of destruction these weapons inflicted on London, despite British interception tecniques of the time.
