Mapping Social Enterprise in Wales: From Evidence to Action

We are proud to launch the latest mapping of the social enterprise sector in Wales.

This research provides robust evidence and new insights into the shape, scale, and impact of social enterprises across Wales. The 2025 mapping report sets out a detailed picture of the sector today - who makes it up, what they do, the strengths they bring, and the challenges they are facing.

Alongside this, the Social Enterprise Stakeholder Group (SESG) will present its new Social Enterprise Manifesto for Wales. The manifesto sets out clear, evidence-driven proposals for how we can:

· Enable social enterprises to grow and thrive

· Maximise the sector’s positive impact on the economy and our communities

Rydym yn falch o lansio’r mapio diweddaraf o’r sector menter gymdeithasol yng Nghymru.

Mae’r ymchwil hwn yn darparu tystiolaeth gadarn ac mewnwelediadau newydd i siap, maint ac effaith mentrau cymdeithasol ledled Cymru. Mae adroddiad mapio 2025 yn cynnig darlun manwl o’r sector heddiw - pwy sy’n rhan ohono, beth maent yn ei wneud, y cryfderau sydd ganddynt, a’r heriau y maent yn eu hwynebu.

Yn ogystal, bydd Grŵp Rhanddeiliaid Mentrau Cymdeithasol yn cyflwyno ei Faniffesto Menter Gymdeithasol i Gymru. Mae’r maniffesto yn nodi cynigion clir, sy’n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth, ar sut y gallwn:

· Gefnogi’r sector presennol i oroesi a llwyddo

· Galluogi mentrau cymdeithasol i dyfu a ffynnu

· Mwyhau effaith gadarnhaol y sector a’r economi ac ein cymunedau.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn dod ag tystiolaeth, gweledigaeth a gweithredu ynghyd — gan siapio’r cam nesaf yn natblygiad mudiad mentrau cymdeithasol yng Nghymru.
