About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours
This workshop will introduce a creative method for exploring your inner landscape in order to deepen your own self understanding and open up the capacity within you for positive therapeutic change.
Combining Internal Family Systems - which works with the inner parts of you - with creative nature based techniques, Fairlie will guide you in giving voice to some of these parts by externalising them and moving into relationship with your own authenticity. This work will bring greater focus to your internal world and help you to develop healthy internal attachments.
This experiential workshop will consist of a combination of guided meditation, mindful engagement with the environment, creative exploration and group discussion.
The aim is to give you a creative method that you can use in whole or in part to support others, as well as offering insight into your own system of parts to better know yourself and develop a tool for self therapy to advance your own healing journey.
Open to all. Some previous experience of therapeutic engagement will help you to gain a deeper understanding in this exploration but is not essential. If you are unsure about booking, please contact Fairlie for more information: counsellingwithfairlie@gmail.com
Although this event is part of the Ten Directions training course for ecotherapy practitioners, anybody can book and take part in this public online event. If you are interested, please do buy a ticket.

About the facilitator
Fairlie interweaves Internal Family Systems with Buddhist Psychology through talking therapy, creative methods and inter-being awareness. Her work with inner parts through the IFS model facilitates individuals in deepening self understanding and compassion for both self and others through a restoration of inner balance and harmony which then ripples outwards into personal relationships and the world beyond. This is further enhanced through working outdoors where this interconnectivity can be experienced directly and consciously.
Fairlie works both 1-1 and with groups as well as teaching workshops as a core member of the Tariki Staff team. She has previous experience working with children and young people, and continues to offer parent consultation for this client group.
Fairlie is a Dzogchen practitioner and is fortunate to be part of an active Sangha who follow the teachings of Tsoknyi Rinpoche. She lives in rural Norfolk where she lives with her family on a 2 acre plot.
