MARATHON 20 - 20 MILES AT RACE PACE BABY.

20 Miles AT RACE PACE!
This is MOST IMPORTMANT RUN of the TRSBR training plan.
We are starting at Preston Park this week and finishing at Big Beach Café, please make arrangements for this as its different to other runs. We are running 20 miles of the Brighton Marathon course, its THE RACE PACE RUN.
By the end of this run you will know what pace to race at on the big day. Concentrate on this run and be very body aware, again really focus on how you feel on the route and what nutrition, hydration strategies you will need to implement.
The route is one lap of Preston Park all the way done to Jubilee Street in town, past the library and back down Queens Street back around the level around to St James Street. You then head all the way up to the lights and turn right back onto the seafront. We go passed the Marina and carry on taking the left passed St Dunstans and beyond. You need to turn around and head back into town when you get the the Tunnel on this road. Head back onto the seafont on the road above the Undercliffs. Head all the way to Grand Avenue in hove, all the way down NEW CHURCH ROAD and head left to Boundary Road, taking the last left hand turn before the Seafront to head back onto NEW CHURCH ROAD. Head back to Grand Avenue and right down to the start of Basin Road. Get to the 2nd Roundabout passed Fat Boys house and then head back to the CAFE for a massive brunch.
We will have PACEHEADS running at 8, 8.30, 9, 9.30, and 10 minute mile pace and our runs are self managed so please be sure you know the route and come equiped ready to run.
