Frequently asked questions

Is there an age limit for this workshop?

This workshop is more suited for children aged 8 and over, though younger children could join in with a lot of adult supervision

Can I bring more than one child?

Ideally there needs to be one child per adult

Can adults join in?

Yes!! Each workshop is an hour long, and there will be a maximum of 8 per group, so plenty of time and space for adults to have a go

What is marbling?

Marbling on water is an historical art form generally used in the production of books. We'll be carefully adding drops of coloured inks to the surface of water and creating patterns using cocktail sticks. Each pattern will be totally unique and as intricate as you want.

What will I take home?

You will be able to take home at least 5 pieces of paper each decorated with your own marbled patterns. If you're creative you could them into an interesting collage, a birthday card for someone special or even put them in a frame and hang them on the wall as little masterpieces.

Should I book for each person attending?

Yes please. I have limited spaces so anyone wishing to join in should book a space.
