Machinery failure is the leading cause of lifeboat launches according to Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)1 and accounts for almost 20% of number of people rescued and lives saved. This one-hour taster session will take you through some of the basic engine checks necessary before putting to sea to help you avoid a breakdown.
