This June, we will be launching our Call for Issues with Supporting Evidence for the north east marine plan area. As part of this call, we are holding two workshops in the north east.

Focussing on the challenges, opportunities and needs of each plan area over the next 20 years, the workshops are an opportunity to share your views and evidence on this, and discuss how marine plans could address these.

We also will be sharing information we have gathered so far on emerging issues, and demonstrating our Marine Planning Evidence Base.

The workshops are being held at:

• Newcastle: Tuesday 5 July, The Discovery Centre 10am to 4pm

• Darlington: Wednesday 6 July, The Dolphin Centre 10am to 4pm

The workshops build on the launch events held in April, and are an opportunity for more detailed discussion on marine planning.

So that we can hear as many views as possible, the number of people attending from the same organisation may be limited. Please register by Sunday 3 July.
