If you’re not familiar with the concept, Marioke is a night where people who love either videogames or karaoke or preferably both come together for a brilliant night of singing, where classic karaoke tracks have been re-written to be about videogames. If you want to sing on stage: great. If you want to sing along to other people singing along: also very great. How much money? Well, we’ve had to hire the venue and put the “staff” up, so we’re charging £6.50 in advance or £10 on the door if there are tickets left, which there won’t be because we’ve sold out a much larger venue for more money before.
