Registration and other details

The Colloquium proper commences on Monday 4 September with registration at 8.30am; a welcome buffet will, however, be available to delegates arriving on the previous evening of Sunday 3 September. A Colloquium Dinner will take place on the evening of Monday 4 September at Sketty Hall, an eighteenth-century mansion previously owned by the Baring family and to this day probably the finest building in Swansea. Accommodation is available on campus during the event: in addition, there will be no difficulty in arranging extended accommodation for those who would like to stay longer (it is worth remembering that the Gower Peninsula, the UK's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just a stone’s throw away). For those who prefer, there are also a number of good hotels in town, notably the Dragon Hotel (http://www.dragon-hotel.co.uk, tel: 01792 657100), and the Marriott Hotel (http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/travel/swsdt-swansea-marriott-hotel, tel: 01792 642020). Please note, however, that the organisers cannot take responsibility for booking accommodation off campus.

The closing date for registration is 28 August 2017

We will try to accommodate those applying after that date, but can make no guarantees in that respect. More detailed information and joining instructions will be sent to delegates on registration.

Cofrestru a manylion eraill

Bydd y Cynulliad yn dechrau'n ffurfiol ddydd Llun 4 Medi a bydd cofrestru'n agor am 8.30am. Fodd bynnag, bydd bwffe croeso ar gael i gynadleddwyr sy'n cyrraedd y noson gynt, sef nos Sul 3 Medi. Cynhelir Cinio'r Cynulliad nos Lun 4 Medi ym Mhlas Sgeti, plasty o'r ddeunawfed ganrif a oedd gynt yn eiddo i deulu Baring, sydd heddiw ymhlith adeiladau mwyaf godidog Abertawe. Mae llety ar gael ar y campws yn ystod y digwyddiad: yn ogystal, ni fydd unrhyw broblem trefnu llety am gyfnod estynedig i'r rhai a hoffai aros yn hwy (mae'n werth cofio bod Penrhyn Gŵyr, Ardal o Harddwch Naturiol gyntaf y DU, ar garreg y drws). Os yw'n well gennych aros yn y dref, mae nifer o westai da ar gael, yn enwedig Gwesty’r Dragon (http://www.dragon-hotel.co.uk, ffôn: 01792 657100), a'r Marriott (http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/travel/swsdt-swansea-marriott-hotel, ffôn: 01792 642020). Sylwer, ni all y trefnwyr dderbyn cyfrifoldeb am drefnu llety oddi ar y campws.

Y dyddiad olaf i gofrestru yw 28 Awst 2017

Byddwn yn ceisio bodloni ceisiadau sy'n cyrraedd ar ôl y dyddiad hwnnw, ond ni allwn warantu hynny. Caiff gwybodaeth fanylach a chyfarwyddiadau ymuno eu hanfon at gynadleddwyr wrth iddynt gofrestru.
