Mark Morriss (The Bluetones) – Live & Acoustic!
Join us for an unforgettable night with Mark Morriss, the unmistakable voice of The Bluetones, as he brings his acclaimed solo acoustic show to the stage!
Best known as the frontman for The Bluetones, and a solo artist since 2008, Mark has spent the best part of three decades honing his craft as a live performer. Over that time, he’s released six albums with The Bluetones, notched up 14 Top 40 singles, and recorded four solo albums, while also collaborating with the likes of Matt Berry & The Maypoles, Mike Wilton, and The Helicopter Of The Holy Ghost.
🎤 As a solo performer, Mark blends songs from his extensive back catalogue with candid, often hilarious stories from his time on the road—resulting in a show that’s entertaining, warm, and never the same twice.
“The symbolic of Morriss’ style as a solo performer; a serious love of music and song tempered with jocularity. It makes for a set of easy-going acoustic songs and a camaraderie that brings a warmth to the winter that gathers around us.”
– Louder Than War
Expect a stripped-back evening filled with timeless Bluetones classics like "Slight Return", "If...", and "Marblehead Johnson", solo gems, and unexpected covers—all delivered with Mark’s signature charm and dry wit.
“Spellbinding; passionate, humorous and open – the sound of a singer who could take on the world.”
