The West Green Road/Seven Sisters Development Trust is convening a series of workshops to shape the Wards Corner Community Benefit Society.
Community benefit societies are a type of organisation that conduct business entirely for the benefit of the community. Rather than profits being distributed amongst members or shareholders, community benefit societies use them for the benefit of the community. The Wards Corner CBS will be a new organisation that will restore and manage the Wards building democratically, delivering the community plan.
To inform this, we're is convening four online workshops, each one focusing on a different beneficiary community. This event is for market and town centre users. Other workshops can be found here for:
- Market traders, Wednesday 29th September
- Local residents, Wednesday 6th October
- Local businesses, Wednesday 13th October
These are open to all within these different communities. Workshops will take place on Zoom, and be recorded for those unable to attend. If you are unsure which event is right for you, or wish to have some advice on using Zoom, please get in touch at n15developmenttrust@gmail.com.

El Fideicomiso de Desarrollo “West Green Road/Seven Sisters Development Trust” está organizando talleres para dar forma a la nueva Sociedad de Interés Común de la Comunidad de Wards Corner. La Wards Corner CBS será una nueva organización que restaurará y gestionará el edificio Wards de manera democrática, implementando asimismo el plan comunitario (“community plan”).
Se estará organizando 4 talleres para comunidades clave, lo que incluye a los grupos siguientes. Los talleres están abiertos a todos en los comunidades.
