Market barriers, feedstock availability & suitability for advanced biofuels

The ADVANCEFUEL project organises this workshop aiming to discuss the newest project results with market players from the renewable transport fuel sector. The workshop will concentrate on the main barriers to the market roll out of advanced biofuels and other liquid renewable fuels. Furthermore, the availability of lignocellulosic biomass and its suitability for being converted into advanced biofuels, and the challenges connected with this, will be addressed. The half-day workshop will start at 12:30 and finish at 16:15. The format of the workshop is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and opinions among the participating experts by combining presentations and structured discussions with the audience. How to reach the venue:

Instructions from the Airport (Göteborg Landvetter Airport) to Gothenburg

There are airport shuttle busses (Flygbussarna, https://www.flygbussarna.se) taking you from the airport to the central train station (approx. 25-30 minutes).

One stop before the central train station is Kungsportsplatsen. If you get off there and take bus 55 to Johanneberg, you will be in walking distance to the OOTO conference center (2 minutes by foot).

Alternatively, the cost by taxi is approx. 400-500 SEK (i.e., 40-50 Euros); this is the same for a drive to the center of the city or to the OOTO conference center.

From the central train station to the OOTO conference center

You will need to walk to Centralstationen (the main tram station in Gothenburg) and take a tram to the stop Brunnsparken (1 stop from the Centralstationen). From there you can take bus 55 to Johanneberg and get off at the end station (walking distance to the OOTO conference center).

You can also walk from the central train station to Brunnsparken (5 minutes by foot).

You can also reach Chalmers, Johanneberg campus in many other ways from the center of the city (i.e., trams 7, 10, 11 take you from Brunssparken to the main entrance of Chalmers) or from Korsvägen (another main tram station, trams 6,8 take you to the main entrance of Chalmers). From there, you have to walk through the campus to the other side following the street Sven Hultinsgatan (5 minutes walk).

Please note that the meeting takes place at OOTO conference center and NOT at Chalmers’ conference center!

Conference Centre Wallenberg, Medicinaregatan 20A, Gothenburg:

Walk from the OOTO center to the Chalmers main entrance (i.e., along Sven Hultinsgatan, 5 minutes)

Take tram 6,7,8, to Medicinaregatan (2 stops, 3-4 minutes by tram)

Walk to Medicinaregatan 20A (400 meters, i.e., 5 minutes by foot).
