MARKET TABLE - Theme: Natural wine

Up your wine knowledge ahead of the festive season. The gorgeously passionate Pedro Etchegaray from Wine Scouts thewinescouts.co.uk will be taking us on a delicious and insightful taste journey, taking in 5 different wines. I'll be creating a market-inspired dish for each wine.
Ticket price includes a small glass of each + a stunning dish to go alongside it.
Wines we'll be tasting:
Sparkling - Vouvray La Dilettante Pierre et Caherine Breton from Loire Valley, France (tasting notes: honeycomb, a loving shroud of sweet blossom...)
White - Montlouis Mineral + Domaine Franz Saumon, Loire Valley, France (the aromatics on the nose are almost haunting, a mix of citrus & orchard fruit, but there is also a stony, pebbly sense giving it a wonderful edge)
Red - Saint Chinian Le Laouzil Thierry Navarre, Languedoc, France (this wine rides the line between plush & juicy... black plum, bing cherry... a spicy blend of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenach & Syrah)
Red - Vignes du Maynes Macon-Rouge, Burgundy, France (extremely floral with blackberry and high-toned red fruits, dark & earthy but with intense fruit expression...)
Fortified - Banyuls Rimage Chateau de Jau, Rousillon, France (a lighter, fresher alternative to Port with summer pudding & mocha flavours, not to mention dried herbs, prune and carmel).
As with all Market Table meals, there'll be a fun, interactive element and a special little Christmas gift for this one to round off 2016.
