Practical, honest marketing advice for small business owners.

There’s no shortage of people online promising overnight success. But if you're running a small or solo business, what you really need is a clear, achievable way to get your marketing off the ground — without the jargon, overwhelm, or pressure to spend money you don’t have.

That’s why we’re hosting this free workshop in Chesterfield — created specifically for local businesses who want to market themselves better, but aren’t sure where to start.

Led by Natalie Burkinshaw, founder of Crush, a multi-disciplinary creative agency that’s been helping businesses grow for over 20 years. Award-winning and proudly based in Chesterfield, Crush works with companies of all shapes and sizes — from ambitious start-ups to global organisations, across a diverse range of sectors

This workshop will walk you through the foundations of great marketing — how to think about your brand, what channels make sense for you, and how to build a simple, realistic plan with actionable steps you can take straight away.

What you’ll come away with:

A better understanding of what marketing really is (and isn’t)

A simple framework for planning your own activity

Tips and tools for making the most of your time and budget

Confidence to start taking action

This isn’t about fads and trends — it’s about real guidance for real businesses.
