Human Empathy, Survival and the Power of Truth.
In memory of Geoff Stamp, a dear friend who passed away in March, journalist and presenter Attika Choudhary brings her acclaimed podcast Positive Solace to the stage for the very first time to mark its 5-year anniversary. Since its launch, Positive Solace has been a space for truth-telling and healing, exploring how empathy, love, and dialogue can carry us through life’s deepest challenges and how sharing our stories can connect us all.
Join Attika in an intimate conversation with previous guests of the podcast, Eshaan Akbar, Nadia Ali, Mo Jannah, Josie Naughton and Nabil Abdul Rashid, including a special guest appearance from Armeena Khan. They will share practical perspectives on survival, resilience and community and explore the transformative power of love. Through dialogue and collective storytelling, they will show how truth can become a force for connection healing and peace.
Through humour, honesty, and reflection, the panelists invite the audience to embrace our shared humanity, showing how empathy, storytelling, and the transformative power of love can guide us, with truth acting as a force for resilience and connection.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to support Zainab and her family in Gaza. Zainab, who appeared on Positive Solace in 2021, inspires this support through her courage and story; her family continue to endure trauma, hunger and the daily struggle to survive. You can learn more about Zainab's story on our Positive Solace platforms.
The live podcast will be recorded and will last up to 90 minutes. Food will be provided at the event.
