Join our Conservation Officer, Louise Whale on a guided walk around Grouville Marsh.

This site is known for being one of the most important freshwater wetlands in the east of the island. The marsh is not normally open to the public, so this is a rare opportunity to walk around and see the habitat management that takes place and understand why this is one of Jersey's designated ecological sites of special interest (SSI).

A walk of 2 miles.

The walk is generally easy but participants need to be able to climb up a small mound. Please wear suitable footwear for uneven, marshy terrain walking boots or wellies and dress appropriately for the weather.

Meeting in Longbeach car park.

Supported by The Jersey Community Foundation with funds from the Channel Islands Lottery.
