Book your students onto a GCSE Specification Support Workshop to explore:

Food Microbiology and Aseptic Techniques

  • Wednesday 14th January 2026
  • Wednesday 18th February 2026
  • Wednesday 11th March 2026

These one-day events will offer your students the opportunity to develop their understanding of food microbiology within the food manufacturing environment.

Key areas that will be covered are:

- Working aseptically in a microbiology laboratory

- Working with microbiology equipment such as Bunsen burners and autoclaves

- Enumeration of a food sample

When booking places, tickets must be requested for each pupil attending, not one ticket per school booking. Teachers are not required to book a ticket.

Registration: 9.45am

Workshop starts: 10.00am

Workshop finishes: 2.00pm

Pupils may bring their own snacks and lunch or purchase food from the outlets on campus.
