Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pay & display parking is available at North Promenade Car Park (North Promenade, St Anne's, FY8 2LZ.). The car park accepts cash and card payments.

Question 2

I'm in the car park, but I don't see anyone here. Can you help?

1. Please check you are in the right place. Many people confuse North Prom & North Beach car parks. Check you are NOT at North BEACH Car Park. You should be at North PROM car park which is close to the pier.  2. Please walk up to the dunes opposite the Glendower hotel. Look for our flag and gazebo!

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Suitable clothing for walking outdoors in the predicted weather (don't forget your coat and waterproofs if it's going to be wet and your sun cream/hat if it's going to be sunny!) We recommend bringing your wellies!

Are there toilets?

Accepted Answer

Toilet facilities are located on North Promenade Car Park. The toilets are owned by Danfo & require 40p to access. The toilets accept cash or card payments. Please bring a method of payment should you wish to use the facilities.

Question 5

What if I've booked but I can no longer attend?

Accepted Answer

No problem! But please could you cancel your tickets via EventBrite so your tickets can be released for other people wanting to book on to the event. This is especially important for our sold out events. Thank you.

Question 6

The weather forecast is bad, are you still going ahead with the event?

Accepted Answer

Generally, we go ahead with 90% of our events. If the weather forecast is so bad that there is a H&S risk, we will cancel your tickets via EventBrite - please check your email. We may also put updates on our Facebook page, so please check www.facebook.com/FyldeSandDunes.

How can I get regular updates about the Fylde Sand Dunes Project and future events?

Accepted Answer

All our updates go on our social media platforms. Please follow "Fylde Sand Dunes" on Facebook, Instagram or X (previously Twitter).  All of our events are listed on EventBrite and on Lancashire Wildlife Trust's website: www.lancswt.org.uk/events.

I noticed pictures being taken at the event, where can I view them?

Is this event suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Please have a look at our other events on www.lancswt.org.uk/events to find more accessible events.

Accepted Answer
