Marxism Festival: Time To Act - The Future Can't Wait

Ireland's largest annual left-wing festival is back this year in University College Dublin!

Two years of genocide in Palestine has exposed the cold face of Western governments. They continue to give political support, weapons and money to the genocidal Zionist regime, while repressing their own citizens who protest against it. The ordinary people of the world have shown that we stand with Palestine - but our governments don’t.

Global capitalism is in a state of deep crisis and as a result, fascist movements are taking shape. Trump is dragging other Western governments into a reactionary charade - with attacks on socialists, migrants, people of colour, queer people, women and anyone who dares to oppose fascism. All of this is happening with the backdrop of an ongoing climate catastrophe.

In Ireland, the housing crisis worsens by the day and our governments in both the north and south do nothing to stop it. The tax haven, profit-driven economic model that they worship serves only to benefit to super-rich, while impoverishing ordinary people.

But the tide is turning, and the future is yet unwritten. Get organised and fight for a future for the people, not for profit.

Join us from the 14 - 16th November for 50+ talks, workshops, film screenings and more.
