Join local actress Louise Ann-Munro as she gives a whistle-stop tour of the history and special stories that make Romfords heritage so unique.
This immersive tour will 'time-travel' to 1247 and back to the modern day, telling stories about the market, insight into the towns architecture and facts about it's past; and perhaps even reveal a ghost story or two in an hour of lighthearted fun and discovery.
It begins at Robin's Pie & Mash in Romford's South Street and ends there too (why not stop in after for a taste of the East End and a slap-up meal and time to discuss your own memories of the town).
The guided tour is one hour long, including c. 25 mins walking time and a 'sitting stop' half way between. We ask that you arrive to the tour 5 mins early, with your ticket as the tour will leave promptly at the set time.
This tour is suitable for adults and recommended for 16+ as content in parts is less accessible for children. The tour is for all physical abilities, however if you have any additional needs to access this tour, please contact natalie@nocollective.co.uk and we will provide support where we can. Please also contact natalie@nocollective.co.uk if you are part of a community group and would like to book more than two tickets.
This tour is kindly being funded by Romford Business Improvement District and produced by The NO Collective. A special thanks to Romford Civic Society and Romford Libraries for information sources and support.
