Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
Alhamdo lillah, Masjid-e-Da'watul Islam are pleased to announce the re-opening of the Masjid for Jumuah from 22nd January 2021 onwards.
There will be 3 Jumuah salaahs taking place:
1st Salaah at 12:30 Doors open at 12:00 Please do not arrive before 12:00
2nd Salaah at 1:30 Doors open at 1:05 Please do not arrive before 1:05
3rd Salaah at 2:15 Doors open at 1:55 Please do not arrive before 1:55
Due to ongoing government restrictions, especially social distancing, we have had to limit the number of places for Musallis.
Please book your place for Jumuah using Eventbrite. You will be issued with a booking reference - please bring the ticket with you either on your phone or printed on paper, without this you will not be allowed in.
Booking a ticket implies that you agree to the following terms:
1. I confirm I am in good health and without any Covid-19 symptoms (for example cough, temperature, flu, shortness of breath or loss of smell) and also do not have any other pre-existing condition.
2. I confirm there are no vulnerable members of my household that are at higher risk of Covid-19.
3. I confirm Masjid-e-Da'watul Islam can retain or share this information to assist NHS Test and Trace, should the need arise.
4. I confirm I will follow the restrictions (see below) in place at the Masjid and instructions given by Volunteers.
5. In the event I fall ill after attending Jumuah, I will not hold Masjid-e-Da'watul Islam responsible in any way.
Additionally, please note:
- If, in any way, you or anyone in your household feel unwell or have symptoms of Covid-19, stay at home- The Masjid will have limited spaces. If you arrive without a ticket you will not be able to enter- There are no wudhu or toilet facilities
- Bring your own prayer mat
- Wear a face mask before entering the Masjid, cover the nose and mouth
- Sanitise your hands when entering the Masjid
- Adhere to social distancing rules
- Pray only in designated areas
- Avoid all physical contact
- Volunteers will be present to guide you, please listen to them
- Do not gather or crowd outside the Masjid
- No children under the age of 12 will be permitted
- If you are shielding or over 65 then please pray at home
Please DO NOT make a booking if you cannot accept all of these terms - quite simply they are there to protect the whole community and help us work with the NHS Test & Trace teams should the need arise.
